Girls Scream Aloud

Girls Aloud are set to star in a Scary Movie style spoof horror film, which they're writing themselves.

Nadine Coyle told The Sun: "We're all very big horror fans. But we can't actually do a real horror film as it would be an 18 certificate and a lot of our fans wouldn't be able to watch it."

Nicola Roberts added: "The script is still in the early stages but one of the most important ideas is that Girls Aloud are not portrayed as mindless bimbos. In our film the girls will come out on top but there will be a twist."

Fellow pop stars the Spice Girls and SClub have both released movies, and the Girls Aloud film could help the girls crack the American music scene.

Girls Aloud swear on Radio

Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud is in trouble after swearing on a live radio programme. Her language caused a number of complaints to Brighton's Southern FM.

During the station's breakfast show she was asked about the hospitality at the hotel the band were staying in.

She replied: "The hotel's like Fawlty f***ing Towers. They even have a bell in reception, just like the one in that show."

The girls then admitted they had spent the evening annoying staff by constantly ringing it, says The Sun.
