Cheeky Girls mugged

The Cheeky Girls are recovering after being mugged while out Christmas shopping in London's Oxford Street.

The girls sustained cuts and bruises when they were thrown to the pavement by a thief who ripped a £700 Gucci bag from one of the twins.

They girls were on their way to visit a Marylebone school when the attack happened, and were left so shaken by the incident that they are now considering employing bodyguards for protection.

A Cheeky Christmas

The Cheeky Girls are planning to release a Christmas single. The single, which has already been recorded, will be titled 'Have A Cheeky Christmas' and is scheduled for release on December 8th.

The single will also feature on the festive re-release of the Cheeky Girls album Partytime. The new CD includes the original 12 songs which featured on the original version of the album, plus 'We Go Together' (performed recently on Greasemania), a Megamix of their fist 3 hit singles and The new Christmas song 'Have a Cheeky Christmas', as well as a 2004 Poster Calendar!

The re-release of Partytime is planned for the 24th of November.

The Greasey Girls

The Cheeky Girls will be performing on ITV's Greasemania this Saturday. The girls will be singing the classic 'We go Together' from the musical Grease.

Girls Aloud, Gareth Gates and Darius are just a few of the other artists who will be performing songs from the Grease musical, for the show.

All 13 songs from the TV show are avaliable on a special album Greasemania which is currently avaliable from amazon.

Cheeky Girls are in the money

The Cheeky Girls have reportedly earnt £1.5 million in the last year, according to recent newspaper reports.

Apparently the twins Monica & Gabriela, along with their song writing mother Margrit, have raked in more than Will Young, Gareth Gates or Girl's Aloud.

The girls attribute their wealth to being careful with the pennies, as well as the fact that their mum co-writes the songs, so they get to keep some of the royalties.

Sales of the Cheeky Girl's debut album 'Party Time' which entered the charts at number 14, will surely add to their bulging bank balance.
